This is a giclee print of the Bridge house found in Ambleside and a Dipper, which can often be seen zipping around the river beneath the Bridge house. Dippers are a great little bird and their presence on a river tells us that it is a good and healthy water. The Bridge house dates to the 17th century and was original built to provide access to both sides of the river as well as tax free storage. Later it had a variety of uses but at one point was a home to a family of 8.

This image is based on an original watercolour and pen drawing and has been hand embellished with a gold rectangle. The image size of this print is 7.2”x9” and the mounted size is 12-14”. It was embellished and signed by the artist.
